Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to inspire young learners and foster their early childhood development. Duties

• Design and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and child development principles.
• Deliver age-appropriate lessons that support early intervention strategies and promote overall childhood development.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively by applying positive behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that adheres to child welfare standards and mandated reporting laws.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Support toddlers and young children with specialized care needs, including those requiring early intervention or special education services.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, lesson plans, and developmental observations.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications and practicing emergency procedures.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with a strong understanding of childhood development stages.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for early childhood education environments.
• Experience managing classrooms with diverse learners, including children with special needs or requiring early intervention services.
• Prior involvement in literacy education, math instruction, physical education activities, and behavior management strategies.
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, child welfare policies, and best practices in childcare settings.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and external specialists.
• Classroom experience in private schools or daycare centers is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for fostering a positive learning atmosphere is essential.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
