Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for toddlers. Your leadership will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow through innovative curriculum development and personalized child development instruction. As a key team member, you will foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues while ensuring a safe and stimulating space that promotes early learning and social-emotional growth.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of two-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and foundational math concepts.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills among toddlers.
• Manage daily classroom routines including circle time, play-based activities, nap schedules, and mealtime supervision with a focus on toddler care best practices.
• Utilize effective behavior management and classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child observations, assessments, and standardized testing results as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and professional development opportunities focused on childhood development instruction.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, particularly with toddlers in daycare or preschool environments.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles, early intervention methods, and preschool teaching best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education activities, and social-emotional learning.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and child welfare standards.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration.
• Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential.
• Experience with special education needs or inclusive classroom strategies is a plus.
• Ability to maintain a safe environment through proper childcare procedures while fostering a joyful learning atmosphere.

Pay: $15.00 - $28.70 per hour
