We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

• Follow and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of two-year-olds, incorporating elements of literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management.
• Plan and execute provided daily lesson plans that promote cognitive, motor, and emotional development aligned with early childhood education standards.
• Engage in ongoing assessment of each child's progress through observations, documentation, and standardized testing when appropriate.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share insights on their child's growth, address concerns, and foster strong home-school connections.
• Lead classroom management efforts by maintaining organized routines, managing behavior effectively, and ensuring compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, providing guidance on classroom strategies, curriculum delivery, and child development best practices.

Skills

• Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with toddlers aged two years old.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including Montessori methods and preschool teaching techniques.
• Proficiency in curriculum development focused on literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social skills for young children.
• Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques.
• Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety is essential.
• Experience with daycare or preschool environments; familiarity with standardized testing tools used in early childhood education is a plus.
• Passion for nurturing child welfare through compassionate care, engaging lesson planning, and fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
