Do you love working with young children ages 1 to 5? Are you looking for a company where you can learn, grow, and build a meaningful career in early childhood education? Mari’s Little Lambs is looking for a Floating Teacher to support our toddler and preschool classrooms.

We have a fun, flexible school culture and welcome a diverse team of teachers from all backgrounds. Our Floating Teachers work alongside our classroom teaching teams to build meaningful relationships with children, implement curriculum, support developmental goals, and communicate with families.

Our program is play based and flexible, with a strong emphasis on cultivating positive relationships with children. New team members receive an in depth orientation and classroom training, along with opportunities for professional development, child development career planning, and ongoing communication with a caring management team.

This position is typically 30 hours per week but requires availability Monday through Thursday from 1:00 to 5:30 PM at minimum.

Background Registry Requirement

Must be actively enrolled in the Oregon DELC Criminal Background Registry before employment.

Additional Training Requirement

Candidates must be willing to complete Safety Set classes and Child Development classes within 30 days of hire. Mari’s Little Lambs will provide additional information and support for completing these requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
