Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development, social-emotional learning, and early education principles
• Supervise, mentor, and support teaching staff to maintain classroom management excellence and deliver engaging activities
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
• Oversee child supervision to ensure safety at all times, including during outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions
• Maintain accurate documentation related to child records, incident reports, health information, and licensing requirements
• Coordinate staff scheduling, training sessions (including First Aid, CPR, Pediatric First Aid), and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools
• Strong knowledge of childhood development instruction, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques
• Certification in First Aid and CPR; Pediatric First Aid certification preferred
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing classroom staff and fostering a positive team environment
• Background in early childhood education or related fields; preschool experience is essential

Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
