QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field
• 3 Years Experience as a Director in a childcare center with at least 40 children
• Management experience with staff of 8 or greater
• Having experience with Head start, Pre-K Counts, and/or PHLpreK programs
• Experience working in a Keystone Star 3 or Higher environment
• Has working knowledge of Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies Gold
• And ITERS, ECRES, and SACRS
• Proficiency in creating professional letters and memos in MS Word, creating spreadsheets in Excel, emailing, scanning documents and sending as an attachment to email
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional presentation
• Be able to develop and maintain an inclusionary spirit of cooperation and teamwork presentation
• Possess all PA 3270 required clearances for PA DHA Director
• Must clear background check and reference checks
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable source of transportation
• Bilingual Spanish a plus

Pay: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
