What is the NAEYC Early Childhood Career Center?

The NAEYC Early Childhood Career Center is the job board of NAEYC, the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Posting is not members-only: a single 30-day posting costs $195 for NAEYC members and $220 for non-members, and every package includes Resume Search access and must be used within 1 year.

Bundles drop the per-posting price for centers that hire in volume.

Members pay $790 for 5 postings, $1,515 for 10, $3,440 for 25, $4,950 for 40 and $5,845 for 50 — down to $116 per posting.

Non-members pay $825 for 5, $1,650 for 10, $4,125 for 25, $6,600 for 40 and $8,250 for 50, which works out to $165 per posting at every tier.

Inside an employer account you can post jobs, review, track and organize incoming applications, and search the resume database filtered by key criteria.

The add-ons are priced separately: Featured Jobs start at $100 and Targeted Job Distribution starts at $150, while the Featured Employer options (a brand profile page, banner ad rotation, enhanced job posting) are listed without prices.

What does the Child Care Aware of America Career Center cost?

The Child Care Career Center run by Child Care Aware of America (CCAoA) charges $199 for a 30-day job posting.

Membership changes that: CCAoA members can post basic 30-day job listings for free, non-members' listings start at $199, and both can upgrade.

The upgrades are the Job Flash email packages, which send your opening to what the pricing page calls Qualified Child Care Professionals.

Job Flash costs $299 and includes a 30-day posting plus the email.

Premium Job Flash is $399 and adds staying high in search results and highlighting.

Ultimate Recruitment is $599 and adds a TalentBoost distribution across what the page calls a Network of 1,000+ Sites.

A single resume purchase is $35.

CCAoA pitches the center at child care centers, homes and CCR&R agencies, and argues targeting over reach: “Target a few quality candidates” and “avoid receiving masses of under-qualified applications”, with resume filters that refine searches without seeing candidates' identifying information.

Its pricing page also says Job Flash placement can increase candidates by up to 500% — a self-reported figure.

Which career center costs less once membership is counted?

On a single 30-day posting the two are close: $195 (NAEYC member) or $220 (non-member) against $199 on the Child Care Aware career center — and free if you are already a CCAoA member posting a basic listing.

Volume and membership are where they separate.

NAEYC publishes bundle tiers that bring the per-posting cost down to $116 for members at the 50-posting level, and membership doesn't make a posting free there — the member price is $195 and every bundle tier is priced.

CCAoA's free tier is members-only, and its pricing page publishes no bundle discounts, so each non-member basic listing is priced at $199 unless you move up to a Job Flash package.

So membership decides most of it.

If your program already belongs to CCAoA, its free basic listings are the lowest price on either board.

If it holds a NAEYC membership and posts several roles a year, the bundles include resume search and get cheaper per posting as you add them.

If it belongs to neither, the single-post sticker prices are nearly identical and the choice comes down to which extra you want: NAEYC's resume search or Child Care Aware's Job Flash emails.

How do the extras compare: resume search, Job Flash and Featured placement?

Resume search is the sharpest difference.

NAEYC bundles Resume Search access into every package, single or bulk, and the employer account filters the resume database by key criteria.

On the Child Care Aware career center, resumes are bought individually at $35 each, and the filters refine the search without showing candidates' identifying information.

For pushing one hard-to-fill opening beyond the board itself, Child Care Aware's Job Flash line is the more built-out product: $299, $399 or $599 depending on how much distribution and visibility you add, up to the TalentBoost network of 1,000+ sites.

NAEYC's equivalents are Targeted Job Distribution from $150 and Featured Jobs from $100, with the fuller Featured Employer options carrying no published prices.

On claimed results, Child Care Aware's pricing page publishes a number — the up-to-500% candidate increase, which is the page's own self-reported figure.

NAEYC's rates page lists features and prices; our check of that page found no candidate-count claims on it.

ChildcareHires publishes no candidate, applicant or results numbers at all, so there is nothing to compare on that side either.

Where does ChildcareHires fit as a third option?

Both of these are association career centers, and both price around membership.

ChildcareHires is a job board built only for early-education jobs — lead and assistant teachers in infant, toddler, preschool and pre-K rooms, floaters and aides, directors, cooks, drivers and front-office staff at childcare centers, preschools, Head Start programs and other early education programs — with no association membership involved.

A Standard post is $199 for 30 days and a Featured post is $399, both at launch pricing, and each is a one-time payment that never renews.

Each role gets its own post, published the moment Stripe confirms payment, shown on the matching role and city pages and indexed in Google Jobs.

Candidates apply on the center's own application page or inbox, so there is no resume database on this board.

Centers that are always hiring can take a slot plan instead — $899 a month for up to 10 live posts or $1,749 a month for up to 25, arranged by contacting ChildcareHires.

The trade is explicit: you give up the association resume database and the email blasts and get a flat, published price for a childcare-only audience.

Every price and term is on the fact sheet and the pricing page.

  • You want the post live the moment payment clears, on the matching role and city pages and in Google Jobs
  • You are always hiring and prefer a slot plan — $899 a month for 10 live posts, $1,749 a month for 25 — over buying a bundle of postings you have to use within a year

Frequently asked questions

Is the NAEYC career center only for NAEYC members?

No. NAEYC members pay $195 for a single 30-day posting and non-members pay $220.

Every package, member or not, includes Resume Search access and can be used within 1 year.

The bundles follow the same split: $790 for 5 postings for members against $825 for 5 for non-members.

Do Child Care Aware of America members post jobs for free?

Basic ones, yes.

CCAoA members can post basic 30-day job listings for free on the Child Care Career Center.

Non-members' 30-day listings start at $199, and both members and non-members can upgrade their listings.

What is a Job Flash on the Child Care Aware career center?

An email package that sends your opening to what the pricing page calls Qualified Child Care Professionals.

Job Flash is $299 and includes a 30-day posting plus the email; Premium Job Flash is $399 and adds staying high in search results and highlighting; Ultimate Recruitment is $599 and adds a TalentBoost distribution across a network of 1,000+ sites.

How much are NAEYC's job posting bundles?

For NAEYC members: $790 for 5 postings, $1,515 for 10, $3,440 for 25, $4,950 for 40 and $5,845 for 50 — as low as $116 per posting.

Non-members pay $825 for 5, $1,650 for 10, $4,125 for 25, $6,600 for 40 and $8,250 for 50, or $165 per posting at every tier.

Each posting runs 30 days online.

Which board is cheaper, NAEYC or Child Care Aware?

For one posting they are close: $195 (NAEYC member) or $220 (non-member) against $199 on Child Care Aware, and free for CCAoA members posting a basic listing.

Volume is where they split: NAEYC publishes bundles down to $116 per posting for members, while Child Care Aware publishes no bundle discounts — its upgrades are the $299 to $599 Job Flash packages.

Do both career centers include resume search?

No. NAEYC includes Resume Search access with every package, and its employer account filters the resume database by key criteria.

Child Care Aware sells resumes individually at $35 each, with filters that refine searches without showing candidates' identifying information.

ChildcareHires has no resume database at all — candidates apply on the center's own application page or inbox.

Is the 500% candidate increase on Child Care Aware's pricing page verified?

No — it is the career center's own marketing figure, not an independently verified number.

The pricing page says Job Flash email placement can increase candidates by up to 500%.

Treat it as self-reported, and weigh any email-blast upgrade against the response rates your own openings have drawn before.

Is there a childcare job board with no association membership?

ChildcareHires is one.

It is a job board built only for early-education jobs, and no association membership is involved.

A Standard post is $199 and a Featured post is $399 at launch pricing, each a one-time 30-day payment that never renews; slot plans run $899 a month for 10 live posts or $1,749 a month for 25.
