What is ChildcareHires?

ChildcareHires is a job board for early-education jobs and nothing else.

It lists openings at childcare centers, preschools, Head Start programs and other early education programs, for the people who staff them: lead and assistant teachers in infant, toddler, preschool and pre-K rooms, floaters and aides, Head Start and school-age staff, directors, cooks, drivers and front-office staff.

It has 31 role pages.

It is for early educators looking for work and the centers and programs hiring them; it does not help families find or compare childcare for their own children.

Read more on the About page.

For job seekers it is free: searching and applying cost nothing and need no account.

Employers pay to post.

What does it cost to post a job on ChildcareHires?

Prices are published on the pricing page, and they are launch prices that can end without notice.

  • Standard: $199 per post (regular price $299). A 30-day post, indexed in Google Jobs and shown on the matching role and city pages.
  • Featured: $399 per post (regular price $499). Everything in Standard, plus the company logo, a highlighted card, top-of-feed placement and a Featured badge.

A single post is a one-time payment that never renews, and there is nothing to sign.

Each role needs its own post, so a lead teacher, an assistant and a director are listed separately.

How does posting a job work?

Pick Standard or Featured, describe the classroom, schedule and pay, add the link or email where applications should go, and pay through Stripe.

The post is published the moment Stripe confirms payment; there is no review step.

Candidates who click Apply go to the center's own application page or inbox, and ChildcareHires never sees or stores what they send.

Each post runs 30 days from the purchase date.

To change a live post (pay, classroom or age group, a required credential such as a CDA, hours or start date) or take it down once the role is filled, email support with the job title. Post a job.

What are the slot plans?

Centers and groups that hire constantly can take a monthly slot plan instead of paying per post.

Each slot holds one live post, for any classroom or role at any location, and when a position is filled the slot can take the next opening as often as needed at no extra cost.

  • Growth: $899 a month for up to 10 posts live at once, with the company logo on every post.
  • Brand: $1,749 a month for up to 25 posts live at once, Featured placement on every post and priority support from one direct point of contact.

Slot plans are arranged by contacting ChildcareHires, not through self-serve checkout.

They bill monthly and can be cancelled at any time, with no minimum term and no contract.

Founding Partner pricing is held for 24 months while the plan stays active and is open to the first 10 centers or groups on a plan.

Where do the job listings come from?

Centers and programs post their openings directly and pay for them.

The board is also set up to carry listings collected from employers' own careers pages and public job feeds, and each of those links out to the original posting, so the application goes to the employer, not to ChildcareHires.

Featured is the one paid placement: a Featured post carries a Featured badge and shows above standard posts on matching role and city pages.

Who runs ChildcareHires?

ChildcareHires is run by its founder, Gabriel Meierotto.

He has never taught in or directed a childcare program and holds no CDA credential, early childhood degree or director credential.

His work is the hiring and publishing side: helping centers get openings seen and helping educators find them.

When the site's guides describe licensing rules or pay, the claims are cited to the agency or regulation that sets them, or to the Bureau of Labor Statistics wage survey, and nothing on the site replaces a state licensing agency's ruling.

What does ChildcareHires not do?

  • It is not an employer, staffing agency or recruiting agency. It does not screen, interview or vouch for candidates or employers, and it does not guarantee that a listing will result in a hire.
  • It does not help families find, arrange or compare childcare.
  • It does not offer a free posting option for employers.
  • It does not give licensing or legal advice.
  • It does not publish candidate, applicant or reach numbers.
