Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where young children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans tailored to toddler developmental stages, incorporating literacy education, physical activity, and creative play.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote respect, independence, and cooperation.
• Support children's physical needs by providing attentive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
• Monitor and assess child development progress using standardized testing methods and documentation to inform instructional strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to childhood development or behavior.
• Maintain a safe classroom environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certification requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives that enhance early intervention strategies and support children with special education needs.

Skills

• Extensive experience working with children in early childhood education settings, especially with toddlers.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
• Proficiency in curriculum development focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and preschool teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate childhood development best practices while meeting mandated reporting laws.
• Familiarity with preschool experience, private school environments, or similar educational settings is preferred.
• Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of childhood welfare standards; experience working with students requiring special education or early intervention services.
