The Goddard School® located in Happy Valley, OR is looking for a dedicated, nurturing, and dependable full-time early childhood educator to join our team.
At The Goddard School, we believe in getting to know our teachers and helping them get to know our program. All new faculty members begin as Resource Teachers, working alongside our Lead and Assistant Teachers in classrooms throughout the school. This allows you to build relationships with our children, families, and staff while becoming familiar with each age group and our curriculum. As classroom teaching positions become available, we assign teachers from within our support staff, giving you the opportunity to transition into a consistent classroom when the right fit becomes available.
We're looking for someone who is confident, positive, kind, flexible, and enjoys being part of a team. Reliability and consistent attendance are essential, as our teachers and children depend on one another every day.
This is a full-time position. Team members must be available to work a scheduled shift between our operating hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. While your daily shift will not be scheduled the span of the entire day, schedules are assigned within those hours based on the needs of the school.
