Responsibilities

• Utilize educational technology and learning tools to enhance engagement and understanding across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements to foster strong home-school partnerships
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists (such as speech therapists or occupational therapists), and support staff to coordinate instructional efforts and share best practices
• Assess student performance through standardized testing, formative assessments, and observational data to inform instruction and track progress
• Support students’ social-emotional development through behavioral therapy techniques, recreational activities, or other therapeutic interventions when appropriate

Experience

• Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or elementary/middle/high school settings preferred.
• Experience integrating educational technology tools for instruction and assessment purposes
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies for students with disabilities or behavioral health needs
• Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
