In need of a childcare worker

Full time / Part time positions are available:

Salary will be based on Experience of the candidate.

Applicants must live in the Bronx or Westchester Area. Must love children, be very energetic, work well under pressure, be able to multitask, must be a team player, be willing to bring new creative and enjoyable ideas to the classroom. Must be reliable, patient, and punctual.

Must be experienced working with TODDLERS. (18 months - 36 months)

Requirements :

Fingerprinting, Medicals, State Central Register ( SCR) clearance First Aid and CPR certificate, 3 personal references, must take 15 hours or more of online classes for children Certification.

Responsibilities:

Comfortable working with children mostly toddlers.

Able to teach regular activities already printed in our early learning curriculum using programs such as Mother Goose Time. Our curriculum requires that YOU teach the children step by step the program of the day. I will give you a monthly curriculum which gives you weekly and daily things to do from arts and craft, word of the day, story time, puppet shows, sensory rich play, music and movement etc. We will provide a Calendar of activities for each hour of the day. So being able to follow direction while having your own spin to things is a must.

Comfortable with using phone application. I will teach you how to use the Brightwheel app to communicate with parents, sending them pictures throughout the day, manage attendance -checking children in and out of daycare using the application among other features that I will guide you through that will be used on a daily basis.

Keep children engaged at all times making sure the children are safe and well cared for.

Serve food to children and help feed and clean up after.

Aid children in potting ,toilet training, diapering and hand washing.

Cleaning up after children maintaining a clean and organized environment

Contract length: 12 months
