Job Description
Christian Child Care, Inc. in Lincoln, Illinois is seeking a dedicated and qualified Site Director to oversee daily operations and ensure high‑quality care within our Christ‑centered childcare program. The Site Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the program and committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. This includes staff leadership, family relationships, enrollment, scheduling, licensing and accreditation compliance, program quality, and implementation of CCC policies and procedures. This position is the operational leader of CCC and works closely with the Executive Director, Assistant Director, and Board of Directors as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the center
• Implement organizational policies and procedures established by CCC leadership and the Board of Directors
• Ensure compliance with all Illinois DCFS licensing requirements and National Accreditation Commission (NAC) standards
• Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, mentoring and accountability to support and lead childcare staff
• Maintain a positive, professional, and faith‑based environment for children, families, and employees
• Manage scheduling, enrollment, documentation, and parent communication
• Support curriculum implementation and promote high‑quality early childhood practices
• Monitor program quality and identify areas for improvement and continual growth
• Participate in community and professional relationships that support the center and its families, as well as the community

Qualifications

• Must meet Illinois DCFS Director qualifications as well as hold an Illinois Director Credential (IDC) Level I with plans for immediate credential advancement. IDC Level II preferred.
• Experience in early childhood education, childcare administration, or related leadership roles
• Thorough understanding of child licensing, staff management, and program operations
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and community partners
• Ability to provide both support and accountability to staff
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with staff, families, and community members
• A genuine commitment to the Christian mission of Christian Child Care, Inc. and a willingness to model and promote those values in daily leadership, relationship, and service

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
