Country Home Learning Center is hiring caring, dependable Preschool Teachers and Childcare Teachers for our Medical Center campus at 8155 Fredericksburg Rd., San Antonio, TX 78229.

If you enjoy helping young children learn, grow, and build confidence, we would love to meet you. We are hiring teachers to work with infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-K, and school-age children, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Our Medical Center preschool and childcare center serves families throughout the San Antonio Medical Center, USAA area, Oak Hills, and surrounding Northwest San Antonio communities.

Pay: $14-17 per hour

Location: 8155 Fredericksburg Rd., San Antonio, TX 78229

Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

What You'll Do

As a Preschool Teacher, Childcare Teacher, or Early Childhood Educator at Country Home, you will:

• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment.
• Build caring and consistent relationships with the children in your class.
• Follow Country Home's prepared curriculum and lesson plans.
• Lead age-appropriate educational activities supporting language, literacy, social-emotional development, sensory learning, and gross and fine motor skills.
• Help infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-K children develop independence, confidence, and important developmental skills.
• Work closely with co-teachers and school leadership.
• Maintain an organized classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and learn.
• Closely supervise children and follow all health and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally and positively with parents and families.
• Provide the consistency, reliability, and care children need to thrive.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Caring, dependable, and professional
• Able to work cooperatively with co-teachers and school leadership
• Comfortable communicating with children, families, and coworkers
• Committed to maintaining a safe and positive learning environment

Preferred, but not required:

• Previous experience as a preschool teacher, daycare teacher, childcare provider, infant teacher, toddler teacher, pre-K teacher, teacher assistant, after-school teacher, nanny, or early childhood educator
• Child Development Associate credential (CDA)
• Early Childhood Education coursework or degree
• Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate learning practices

Our Medical Center campus gives teachers and children access to unique learning and activity spaces beyond the classroom. Country Home's educational environment emphasizes hands-on learning, enrichment activities, indoor and outdoor play, and age-appropriate recreational experiences.

Country Home Learning Center provides early childhood education and child care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, pre-K children, school-age children, and summer campers.

Our Medical Center location is conveniently located on Fredericksburg Road near the South Texas Medical Center and USAA, serving families throughout the surrounding San Antonio communities.
