Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher (2Yr olds) to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
• Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques.
• Conduct child development instruction tailored to the needs of diverse learners, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development.
• Ensure safety by maintaining compliance with mandated reporting laws and first aid/CPR protocols.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, assess student progress through standardized testing, and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
• Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management.
• Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math, and child welfare practices.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration.
• Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or childhood development are a plus.
• Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Prior experience in private school settings or similar educational environments is preferred.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
