Preschool Teacher

Duties

• Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and safety.
• Engage with children to support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through hands-on activities and interactive play.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's development, milestones, and classroom activities to ensure a supportive partnership.
• Support child welfare by creating a safe, clean, and stimulating daycare or preschool environment that meets all health and safety standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of Bachelors degre in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Elementary Education.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience working with children in preschool or child development settings is essential; classroom experience is highly valued.
• Knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with curriculum development tools such as Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold methods or other early childhood education frameworks.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social skills.
