Preschool Teacher

Rainbow Montessori is an intimate micro-school sanctuary capped at just 12 to 18 children. We offer a peaceful, unhurried, and beautiful environment where children learn at their own natural rhythm.

We provide a gentle, unforced, and foundational learning experience that balances child-led discovery with meaningful monthly thematic exploration. Here, early childhood education is valued as a profound science, not a low-skill babysitting job.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a warm, patient, and academically serious educator who views working with young children as a true calling. Whether you are a seasoned Montessori Lead Guide or a dedicated Preschool Teacher/Assistant looking for a quiet, low-stress environment where you can actually make a difference, we welcome your passion.

We are hiring for:

• General Preschool Teacher / Assistant Guide: Focuses on bringing warmth, gentle daily support, and creative monthly thematic activities, arts, and sensory experiences to life.
• Montessori Lead Guide: Leads authentic Montessori work cycles and observational assessments for our primary-aged classroom.

(Note: You do not need a formal Montessori credential to apply for our Assistant/General Teacher roles. If you possess warmth, intellectual dedication, and a deep love for children, our founder will guide and handle the core Montessori framework alongside you!)

Key Responsibilities

• Gentle Classroom Presence: Cultivate a peaceful, regulated, and joyful atmosphere where every child feels safe, heard, and deeply attuned to.
• Thematic & Enrichment Support: Help plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate monthly thematic learning activities, art projects, and hands-on sensory exploration.
• Child-Led Observation: Support children in building independence, emotional composure, and social-emotional confidence through patient, unhurried guidance.
• Safety & Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom space that supports quiet focus and physical well-being.
• Warm Family Connection: Partner with our founder to provide parents with genuine, thoughtful communication regarding their child’s daily happiness and development.

Qualifications & Expectations

• Heart & Dedication: A proven track record of deep dedication to early childhood development, strong personal work ethic, and genuine warmth.
• ECE Education: Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or Child Development units (transcripts requested upon interview).
• Experience: Experience working in a preschool, infant/toddler center, or home care environment (1–2+ years preferred).
• Certifications: Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to complete upon hire) and Mandated Reporter training.
• Mindset: A desire to work in a low-ratio, peaceful environment where child well-being and genuine learning take priority over rigid institutional drilling or chaotic group supervision.

Why You Will Love Working Here

• Low Density, Low Stress.
• True Professional Respect: Be treated as a co-creator of peace and learning.
• Focus on the Child: Spend your day building real connections, observing growth, and enjoying unhurried learning cycles.

We are looking for immediate morning shift 8 AM - 1 PM (with possibility to extend to 2 PM) and an opportunity to convert to full time along the school growth. If you think this environment resonates to your heart, we would love to meet you.
