Preschool Teacher (Ages 3–5) | Group Supervisor

We’re looking for a caring, creative, and dependable Preschool Teacher to join our team and support children ages 3 to 5. If you enjoy hands-on learning, building meaningful relationships, and helping preschoolers grow in confidence, we’d love to meet you!

A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is required for this position.

What You’ll Do

Make Learning Meaningful

• Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that spark curiosity and support school readiness.
• Bring literacy, language, math, science, and creative expression to life through play and hands-on experiences.
• Help children build independence, problem-solving skills, and confidence as they prepare for kindergarten.
• Support each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.

Create a Classroom Where Children Feel They Belong

• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Support daily routines, including meals, learning centers, transitions, rest time, and outdoor play.
• Use positive behavior guidance to help children navigate big feelings, practice kindness, and build friendships.
• Help guide classroom aides and assistant teachers, and oversee classroom routines when the Group Supervisor is absent.
• Keep classroom records organized and follow center policies and applicable DHS requirements.

Connect With Families

• Build warm, professional relationships with children and their families.
• Share children’s progress, accomplishments, and everyday discoveries.
• Participate in family conferences, classroom celebrations, and center events.
• Work with families to support each child’s individual needs and growth.

Be Part of the EOTO Team

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
• Share ideas, contribute your creativity, and help build a positive workplace.
• Support center events and community engagement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
• Meet applicable Pennsylvania DHS Assistant Group Supervisor qualifications, including required education and experience.
• Complete required background clearances, health documentation, and training.
