Preschool & Daycare Lead Teachers

We have exciting opportunities and are hiring for multiple preschools, daycares, and childcare centers throughout Philadelphia, PA. We are looking for Lead Teachers for our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.

*We are offering a $1,000 hiring incentive for qualified candidates, subject to school approval and eligibility requirements*

Lead Teacher Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Lead daily classroom activities and maintain effective classroom management
• Support children's individual developmental needs and adjust activities as appropriate
• Communicate professionally and warmly with children, families, and peers
• Collaborate effectively with Assistant Teachers and center leadership
• Follow all health, safety, licensing, and classroom-ratio requirements while supervising children at all times

Lead Teacher Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience working in daycare, preschool, or child care settings with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to create a positive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
