Preschool Lead Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Classroom Leadership
• Lead and manage the toddler classroom daily
• Supervise assistant teachers and support staff
• Maintain a structured, nurturing, and engaging environment
• Curriculum & Development
• Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based lesson plans
• Support social-emotional, language, and motor development
• Use observation to track developmental progress
• Health & Safety
• Maintain proper classroom ratios at all times
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free classroom
• Parent Communication
• Build strong, professional relationships with families
• Provide daily updates on children’s activities and progress
• Address parent concerns in a respectful and timely manner
• Licensing & Compliance
• Follow all Tennessee DHS licensing regulations
• Maintain accurate attendance and documentation
• Be prepared for inspections at any time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
