Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. This is a half-time/part-time position Monday through Friday 8:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. You will implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, with social-emotional and hands on learning, and to promote learning through meaningful play. We are a state licensed program and certified through Early Achievers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues to support each child's learning journey.
• Facilitate engaging activities that promote social skills, math concepts and language/literacy development.
• Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other educators in the center to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Patience, creativity and enthusiasm for teaching young children are critical attributes.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred at the time of hiring.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting is essential.
