We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Opening Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This full-time position runs from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, providing compassionate care and engaging developmental activities for students in our nurturing classroom environment. Duties

• Supervise and care for students, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being throughout the day
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones in areas such as motor skills, language, and social-emotional growth
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that supports learning and exploration
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to foster strong relationships
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment
• Document daily observations and developmental progress of each infant to inform ongoing care strategies
• Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that meet individual needs and promote inclusive learning experiences

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a daycare center setting
• Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles
• Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid is required; ongoing training encouraged
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively
• Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Ability to work full-time hours from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm in a fast-paced childcare environment

Pay: $14.00 per hour
