Montessori Early Childhood Educator

Montessori Early Childhood Educator

Full-Time, Weekdays

North Dallas, TX | $30,000 to $40,000 per year | Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 4:30pm

Our family is looking for a Montessori-minded educator to guide the daily learning and care of our two youngest children, ages 1 and 3. This is an early education role, not a nanny position. We want someone who brings a prepared environment, intentional routines, and a love of child-led learning into our home, so these early years build independence, curiosity, and confidence.

What you’ll do

• Plan and lead age-appropriate Montessori activities for a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old
• Support early language, practical life skills, fine and gross motor development, and independence
• Engage the children through play, reading, music, and outdoor time
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks, encouraging independence at the table
• Lead the 1-year-old’s nap routine and use that time for focused one-on-one work with the 3-year-old
• Keep the children’s spaces orderly: tidy after meals and activities, wash their dishes, and put away their laundry
• Share brief updates with parents on each child’s progress, milestones, and day

Who you are

• Background in early childhood education, with hands-on experience caring for infants and toddlers
• Warm, patient, and calm, with a respectful approach to young children
• Organized and consistent with routines
• Dependable and proactive about communicating with parents
• CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to certify before starting

PREFERRED: Montessori certification (AMI or AMS) or experience as a Montessori guide or assistant in an infant, toddler, or primary classroom

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 4:30pm

Compensation: $30,000 to $40,000 per year

Process: Phone screen, in-person interview, background check, then a paid trial week

To apply: Send your resume and a short note describing a Montessori activity you’ve led with a toddler and what it taught them.

Pay: $24.80 - $29.86 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 per week

Work Location: In person
