Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to inspire and educate our youngest learners. In this vital role, you will create engaging lesson plans, manage a nurturing classroom environment, and support the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of two-year-old children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay a strong foundation for each child's future learning journey.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to two-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and basic math concepts.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management techniques.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote physical development, social skills, and early childhood education principles.
• Communicate regularly with parents to share progress, address concerns, and build strong partnerships supporting child welfare.
• Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress, standardized testing results, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
• Ensure safety by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols, maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment, and supervising children at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing inclusive practices for children with special needs or requiring early intervention.

Skills

• Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development instruction, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
• Expertise in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math skills, and physical education activities for toddlers.
• Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, child welfare standards, and first aid/CPR certification.
• Ability to implement individualized plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services.
• Experience with classroom experience including lesson planning, standardized testing procedures, and child care best practices.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
