Position Summary

Truly Blessed Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our team. The Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, structured, and engaging environment while supporting each child’s social-emotional, physical, cognitive, language, and spiritual development.

Responsibilities

• Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for toddlers.
• Maintain active supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Implement TBLC’s curriculum and prepare age-appropriate learning activities.
• Lead daily routines, including circle time, learning activities, music and movement, outdoor play, meals, rest time, and transitions.
• Participate in TBLC’s daily JAM Time and faith-based learning experiences.
• Assist with diapering, toileting, and potty training as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom.
• Complete required daily classroom documentation.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child’s day, progress, and needs.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and TBLC policies and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with other staff and assist in other classrooms when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous childcare or toddler classroom experience preferred.
• Must meet applicable requirements for working in an early childhood program.
• Dependable, patient, professional, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Must have a genuine love for working with young children.

Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• childcare: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• First Aid and CPR (Preferred)
• Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
