Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on toddler care, literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional growth.
• Lead daily classroom activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and early childhood development milestones.
• Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive curriculum that incorporates early intervention strategies and special education accommodations when needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering a strong partnership for child welfare.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development progress.
• Oversee classroom safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment for all children.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, preferably with toddlers.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored to early childhood education.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, and early intervention techniques.
• Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Staff credential is required
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to pass a level 2 background check
• Willing to teach Christian curriculum

Pay: $15.40 - $16.40 per hour
