We’re looking for a dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher who shares that vision and is ready to lead a classroom with creativity and care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will take the lead in creating a structured yet fun learning environment for children. You’ll guide daily classroom activities, support developmental growth, and mentor assistant teachers while building strong relationships with families.

• Implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment
• Lead and support assistant teachers and classroom staff
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Observe and assess children’s progress; communicate with parents regularly
• Maintain compliance with licensing and safety regulations
• Encourage creativity through play-based and hands-on learning

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children of various developmental stages.
• Implement engaging lesson plans aligned with educational standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
• Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques to promote respectful and cooperative conduct.
• Oversee classroom management procedures, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations while fostering a warm learning atmosphere.

Requirements

• Proven classroom experience, obtained 45 hours
• CDA
• CPR/First Aid or willing to obtain
• APPLE Accreditation knowledge a plus
