Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early cognitive development
• Follow established curriculum guidelines to support individual developmental milestones
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and comfort
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws
• Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior management

Skills

• Experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children in daycare or preschool settings
• Knowledge of childhood development instruction and early childhood education principles
• Strong classroom management skills to foster a nurturing environment
• Child supervision expertise with an emphasis on safety and attentive caregiving
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members about child progress and needs
• Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities is a plus
• Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or related safety training is highly desirable
• Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers
• Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and compliance requirements in childcare settings
