Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and outgoing Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our team. This full-time position involves actively engaging with young children in a stimulating curriculum designed to promote development and learning. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, nurturing, and eager to support classroom activities that foster a positive and enriching environment for infants and toddlers.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities and lesson plans tailored to infants and toddlers.
• Engage actively with children through play, conversation, and hands-on learning experiences to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Support the supervision of children during various routines such as feeding, napping, and outdoor play.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Observe and document children's progress, sharing insights with the lead teacher to support individualized development.
• Foster positive relationships with children to create a nurturing atmosphere that encourages curiosity and confidence.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth daily operation of classroom activities.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of children at all times.

Requirements

• Outgoing personality with a passion for working with young children.
• Prior experience working with infants and toddlers is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to actively engage children in stimulating activities aligned with the curriculum.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude toward early childhood development.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the classroom environment.
• Must be able to pass background checks and meet licensing requirements as applicable.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.50 per hour
