Location: The Learning Experience – South Lyon West, MI
Pay: $16–$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
- Assist the Lead Teacher in providing exceptional care for infants ages 6 weeks through 12 months
- Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, naps, bottle preparation, and individualized care
- Engage infants through sensory play, tummy time, music, books, and early developmental activities
- Foster secure relationships by responding to each child's individual needs with patience and care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom that meets Michigan childcare licensing requirements
- Observe and celebrate developmental milestones while communicating daily updates with families
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to create a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous infant or childcare experience preferred
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus, but not required
- Patient, nurturing, and attentive to children's individual needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
