/Child Care Cook

We are looking for a dependable and caring Cook to join our childcare center team.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday–Friday
• 6:30 AM–2:00 PM
• Full-time
• $14.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Keep the kitchen and food preparation areas clean and organized.
• Follow the center’s menus and portion requirements.
• Maintain accurate food and meal records.
• Safely store and handle food.
• Help ensure meals meet the nutritional needs of young children.
• Follow all childcare center policies and procedures.
• Complete required ongoing trainings to maintain knowledge and meet childcare requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred.
• Experience preparing food for children is a plus.
• Must be dependable and able to work Monday–Friday.
• Must be willing to complete required ongoing trainings.
• Must be able to follow food safety and childcare center guidelines.
• On-the-job training is available.
