Childcare Teacher

Tiffany’s Learning Center is seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic Childcare Teacher to join our team. We are a community‑rooted program that values emotional safety, consistency, and strong relationships with families. We currently have an opening for an assistant teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing, responsive care that supports each child’s development
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Follow age‑appropriate routines (feeding, diapering, toileting, transitions)
• Implement play‑based learning experiences aligned with Ohio’s Early Learning Standards
• Communicate professionally with families and uphold TLC’s culture of trust and consistency
• Collaborate with teammates to support smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 6 weeks–5 years
• Ability to adapt to the needs of a specific classroom environment
• Strong reliability, professionalism, and communication skills
• CDA or ECE coursework preferred but not required

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• A genuine love for children that shows in everything you do
• Previous childcare experience is great — but if you’re eager to learn, we’re happy to train
• Physically able to keep up with active little ones
• Up‑to‑date immunizations and a medical statement before starting
• Clean background check

Required Certifications (Can be completed after hire)

• CPR & First Aid — within 90 days
• Child Abuse Recognition & Communicable Disease — within 60 days
