Childcare Solutions Consulting Company LLC is hiring caring, dependable, energetic professionals for current openings at our early learning centers in Barberton, Akron/Lakemore, and Canton, Ohio.

We are seeking preschool and toddler teachers, infant and toddler assistant teachers, classroom floaters, and school-age/recreation teachers who are passionate about helping children learn, grow, and succeed.

Our posted shift times include a 90-minute lunch break. This is why several schedules cover 9½ hours from the beginning to the end of the day.

For example, a schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. includes eight hours of working time and a 90-minute lunch break. The lunch break is already included within the posted start and end times.

Responsibilities depend on the selected position and may include:

• Plan, prepare, or support developmentally appropriate learning experiences for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-age children.
• Provide active supervision and maintain a safe, clean, organized, welcoming classroom.
• Support children’s language, literacy, mathematics, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and respond patiently to their individual needs.
• Use positive guidance, consistent routines, and clear expectations to support appropriate behavior.
• Prepare learning materials, observe and document children’s progress, and maintain required classroom records.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and center leadership.
• Follow applicable Ohio childcare licensing requirements, health and safety practices, company policies, and curriculum expectations.
• Participate in training and contribute to a dependable, cooperative team.

Teachers

Create engaging classroom experiences, implement curriculum, guide daily routines, and support children’s progress through purposeful instruction and positive relationships.

Infant/Toddler Assistant Teachers

Work alongside classroom teachers to provide attentive care, support feeding and diapering routines as assigned, engage children in age-appropriate activities, and maintain a nurturing environment.

Classroom Floaters

Provide support across classrooms as assigned, assist with classroom coverage and transitions, prepare materials, and help maintain consistent supervision and care throughout the day.

School-Age/Recreation Teachers — Our “Masters of Fun”

Bring creativity, energy, and structure to the school-age program. Lead engaging science experiments, curiosity-driven activities, games, arts, movement, and other enrichment experiences that keep children involved and excited to participate. Build positive relationships while reinforcing teamwork, respectful behavior, and clear expectations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A strong commitment to children’s safety, care, development, and success.
• Dependability, punctuality, professionalism, patience, and sound judgment.
• Positive communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Education, credentials, and experience appropriate to the selected position. Lead teacher placements require a CDA or a degree in education or a related field.
• Relevant experience in childcare, teaching, school-age programming, recreation, or classroom support.
• Willingness to complete required background checks, pre-employment documentation, training, and certifications.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it when required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the selected position, with reasonable accommodation when applicable.
