Childcare Educator and Support Staff

Job Summary- All positions
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for nurturing and educating young children. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow, focusing on their developmental needs from infancy through preschool age.

Lead Teacher

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Manage classroom activities effectively to create an organized and structured learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Observe and assess children's development, documenting milestones and adapting activities to meet individual needs.

Lead Teacher and Support Staff

• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive educational experience for all children in the program.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, ensuring it is conducive to learning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in infant/toddler care, or preschool settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development theories.
• Experience in classroom management techniques that foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Ability to educate children through engaging activities that promote learning in a fun way.
• Previous experience as caregiver in a licensed facility for young children is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with both children and families.
• A nurturing attitude with the ability to connect with children on their level.
• Relevant certifications in early childhood education or child development are highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
