Childcare Center Director – New Center Opening

Little Eagle Daycare is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and hands-on Childcare Center Director to lead our brand-new childcare facility in Wayne, PA.

We are looking for a confident, dependable leader who can independently manage daily operations, build a strong team, maintain enrollment, and ensure the center operates smoothly and successfully.

The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and passionate about early childhood education, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently oversee all daily center operations.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and manage teaching staff.
• Manage staff scheduling, classroom coverage, and required ratios.
• Lead enrollment efforts, conduct parent tours, and maintain strong family relationships.
• Ensure full compliance with Pennsylvania DHS/OCDEL licensing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and administrative procedures.
• Support curriculum development and classroom quality.
• Address parent and staff concerns professionally and effectively.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and well-organized childcare environment.
• Work closely with the owner while taking ownership of daily center management.

Qualifications

• Must meet Pennsylvania childcare center Director qualification requirements.
• Previous childcare director or assistant director experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Pennsylvania childcare licensing regulations.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and staff management skills.
• Experience with enrollment, parent communication, and center administration.
• Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems.
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable taking initiative.
