Child Care Director

Are you a passionate early childhood education leader who loves working with children, supporting families? We looking for a dedicated Child Care Center Director to lead our center, support our staff, and create a safe, nurturing, environment where children can learn and grow.

We are looking for an organized, compassionate leader who is committed to quality early childhood education and building positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the child care center in accordance with Kentucky child care licensing regulations.
• Lead, support, and supervise teachers and staff while fostering a positive team environment.
• Ensure a safe, clean, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with families and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Oversee enrollment, classroom staffing, scheduling, and center administration.
• Maintain accurate records, licensing documentation, and required reports.
• Support staff training, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote the center’s Christian mission and values through daily interactions, leadership, and care for children and families.

Qualifications

• Must have your High School Diploma
• At least three years of full time experience working in a licensing child care center OR a degree in Early Childhood
• Must have a current TB Test
• Must be willing to do a background check
• Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Be dependable, professional, and passionate about helping children thrive.
• Be able to work collaboratively with staff, families, and leadership.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
