Job Summary

Little Friends of Jesus Childcare Center seeking an energetic and dedicated Child Care Center Director to lead and manage our Christian early childhood education facility. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with educational standards, and fostering a nurturing Christian-centered environment where children can thrive. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for childhood development, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in education administration. As the face of the center, you will inspire staff, engage families, and uphold the highest standards of safety and educational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to ensure the center operates efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with all regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that promote early childhood development and learning outcomes.
• Supervise and support teaching staff through ongoing professional development facilitation, performance evaluations, and mentorship.
• Oversee center administrative functions such as enrollment processes, record keeping, compliance documentation, and legal adherence related to early childhood education laws.
• Lead fundraising efforts to support program growth, facility improvements, and community engagement initiatives.
• Foster a positive team environment by supervising staff personnel management, promoting collaboration, and maintaining high morale among school staff.
• Ensure the center maintains accreditation standards and adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations concerning childhood education and safety.
• Act as a spokesperson for the center through public speaking engagements, community outreach, and building strong relationships with families and stakeholders.
• Upholds the Christian background of the center and makes sure all staff are adhering to standards as well

Qualifications

• Proven experience in daycare leadership, as a staff at a daycare center, or as a center director within early childhood or K-12 settings.
• Extensive knowledge of educational compliance regulations including special education law and childhood development standards.
• Demonstrated success in curriculum development tailored for 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Strong management skills with experience supervising staff, managing budgets, and facilitating professional development programs.
• Familiarity with legal aspects of center operation including licensing requirements and educational law.
• Background in classroom teaching with direct working experience with young children preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective public speaking, team leadership, and community engagement.
• Ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational goals while fostering an inclusive Christian learning environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
