What Makes Mi Escuelita Special?

At Mi Escuelita, we believe childhood should be filled with discovery, creativity, independence, and connection.

Our program emphasizes Spanish immersion, Montessori/Waldorf-inspired learning, outdoor exploration, gardening, animals, practical life skills, and meaningful hands-on experiences.

We are a small, close-knit school where teachers play an important role in creating a second home for our students.

Before You Apply: Please Read Carefully

Mi Escuelita is a full-day preschool, not a babysitting position.

Our days are active, structured, and hands-on. Teachers are expected to be actively involved with the children, guide behavior, encourage independence, participate in outdoor activities, assist with toileting and hygiene, and contribute to maintaining a clean, organized classroom.

We are looking for someone who understands that early childhood education requires patience, initiative, professionalism, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to the children in their care.

Reliability and long-term commitment are extremely important to us. Our students thrive on consistency, and our families and teaching team depend on staff members who show up on time, communicate professionally, take their responsibilities seriously, and follow through on their commitments.

We are looking for someone who wants to become a valued, consistent part of our school community.

If you are passionate about early childhood education and would love to be part of a warm, creative, and nature-centered preschool, we'd love to hear from you!
