Candidate requirements

• Teacher - minimum 19 years old, of good moral character, Child Development Associate credential, Associate's Degree or equivalent or higher is required ($17.00-$24.00/hour)

About the role

The Toddler Teacher plans and implements educational and recreational activities for children enrolled in the Early Childhood programs (ages 18 months-3 years old) using The Creative Curriculum & Second Step and follows Pyramid Model practices.

• Full time - (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm OR 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
• 10 month or 12 month positions available

Responsibilities

• Safety and supervision of program participants
• Provide support and guidance to program participants
• Plan and implement the program’s educational curriculum and recreational experiences
• Adhere to NE DHHS licensing standards, WECC policies and procedures and NAEYC Code of Ethical conduct
• Communicate effectively with children, families, co-workers & supervisor(s)
• Responsibilities may be modified according to the needs of the center and additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Site Director
