Toddler Teacher

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and engaging environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through age-appropriate activities and positive interactions. This role involves fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom that promotes early learning and social-emotional growth in toddlers.

Duties

• Implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in toddlers
• Supervise children during play, meals, nap times, and other daily routines to ensure safety and well-being
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
• Use positive behavior management techniques to encourage good conduct and social skills
• Assist with classroom setup and cleanup to maintain a healthy learning environment

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning atmosphere
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
• Experience with caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting children and standing for extended periods
• Passion for nurturing young children’s growth and development in a safe, caring environment

This is a full time position with the set hours of M-F 9am-6pm

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
