Toddler Teacher

Job Details:

We're looking for two enthusiastic candidates to help teach our little learners!

Our Toddler Program has three classrooms; Younger Toddlers (12mo-18mo), Mixed-Age Toddlers (18mo-26mo) and Older Toddlers (24mo-38mo). While toddler teachers may occasionally be asked to assist in different toddler rooms, they typically work in one assigned classroom to keep consistency for kiddos & staff.

Toddler Teachers work together to maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Create & follow through on lesson plans

-Gather and prepare materials for the activities so they're ready the day-of

-Change diapers & assist with potty training

-Communicate with parents both in-person & through BrightWheel

-Keep your classroom clean & organized

-Use appropriate behavior management skills & discipline strategies

Requirements:

• Experience with children in any setting (babysitting, daycare, volunteering, etc.)
• Two professional (non-family/non-friend) reference letters
• All four clearances (FBI Fingerprinting, PA State Police Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance, NSOR Clearance); If you don't have them, we'll help you obtain them!
• Physical and TB test
• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
