Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning tailored to toddlers’ developmental stages
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management
• Engage children in hands-on activities that promote childhood development, including motor skills, language acquisition, and basic math concepts
• Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress using standardized testing methods and child development instruction techniques
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's milestones, behavior, and classroom experiences to foster strong partnerships
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare standards at all times
• Manage classroom routines efficiently, including transitions, meal times, nap schedules, and safety procedures such as first aid and CPR readiness

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in toddler care and preschool teaching
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to guide behavior positively and effectively
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention programs is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, physical education, and math activities
• Experience working within private school or daycare environments is advantageous

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
