About the Role:

Our Lead Teachers are the heart of our program, bringing creativity, structure, and warmth to every learning experience. At Play-Inspired Learning Center, you’ll guide children through a thoughtfully balanced day of child-led exploration and purposeful activities. You will nurture and comfort our youngest learners (14 months - 33 months) through intentional care and gentle guidance. You’ll partner with families and co-teachers to create a calm, predictable environment that supports each toddler's individual rhythms and developmental milestones.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing warm, responsive care and individualized attention
• Establishing routines that promote security and trust
• Encouraging early communication through songs, stories, and eye contact Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• Collaborating with your co-teacher and center leadership

Qualifications:

• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Experience working with young children in a licensed setting
• Background/Interest in the Montessori Pedagogy
• Knowledge of child development and play-based learning
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Uphold all licensing, health, and safety requirements

Physical Requirements:

This is an active teaching role that requires full engagement with young children throughout the day, including:

• Sitting on the floor, bending, kneeling, and frequent movement
• Lifting and assisting children (up to 40 lbs)
• Engaging in active play, including outdoor activities
• Supporting children with daily routines such as diapering, toileting, and meals
• Maintaining awareness and quick responsiveness in a dynamic classroom environment

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
