Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, math skills, and physical activity.
  • Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth among toddlers.
  • Manage daily classroom routines including meal times, naps, diapering, and outdoor play while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques to support positive behavior and address challenges with patience and consistency.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates.
  • Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention practices to support children with diverse learning needs.
  • Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations such as first aid and CPR requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and assessment methods to enhance educational outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood education standards, and classroom management techniques.
  • Experience developing curriculum that includes literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR; additional training in special education or early intervention is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Ability to follow mandated reporting laws accurately and responsibly.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons aligned with developmental milestones for toddlers.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for early childhood assessment is advantageous.
