Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this paid position, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom for toddlers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, socialization, and growth.

Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on early childhood development and preschool activities
• Supervise and engage with children during play, mealtime, nap time, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and positive interactions
• Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences and progress
• Help enforce health and safety policies, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws
• Support children with infant care needs, including diapering and feeding as required
• Participate in ongoing training related to childhood development instruction, special education needs, and pediatric first aid

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Experience working with toddlers is a plus
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to supervise young children effectively
• Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
• Ability to follow mandated reporting laws and safety protocols diligently
• Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth through nurturing care and educational activities

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
