About the Position

Bell’s Little Learners is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team! We are hiring for multiple classrooms and schedules. We are looking for someone who loves working with young children, enjoys being part of a team, and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed.

Available Schedules

• 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 11:30 AM – 6:00 PM

All positions are Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Help care for and supervise children throughout the day.
• Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, routines, and lesson plans.
• Follow directions from lead teachers and work as part of a team.
• Interact positively and professionally with parents during drop-off and pick-up.
• Keep classroom updates and the parent communication app current throughout the day, including photos and updates.
• Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and bathroom routines.
• Provide comfort and care for children with minor bumps, scrapes, and other everyday needs.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
• Engage with children through play, learning activities, and positive interactions.
• Complete required training and stay up to date with all childcare licensing requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A positive attitude, patience, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Dependability, teamwork, and good communication skills.
• Willingness to follow classroom policies and directions from lead teachers.
• Previous childcare or preschool experience is a plus, but not required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred, but not required.

Compensation

Starting pay is $16.50 per hour, with room for negotiation based on previous childcare experience, education credits, and qualifications.
