About the Role:
Georgetown Preschool LLC is looking for passionate and nurturing Spanish Infant and Toddler Teachers to join our growing team in Washington, DC! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our youngest learners in a warm, bilingual environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers
- Deliver Spanish-language instruction and immersive bilingual learning experiences
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities aligned with early childhood development standards
- Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with licensing regulations
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive school culture
Requirements:
- Associate's (AA) or Bachelor's (BA) degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required
- Spanish language proficiency is required
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to meet DC childcare licensing and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with families and colleagues
