School Age Group Leader

Position Title: School Age Group Leader

Location: Kenosha, WI - Public or Private School Site

Part-Time School Year & Optional Summer Hours

We are looking for an energetic and caring School Age Leader to join our Child Care Team. In this role, you will lead engaging activities, build relationships with child and families, and create a safe, fun space for students outside of school hours.

What You Will Do?

• Supervise and engage school-age children in fun, age- appropriate activities
• Implement lesson plans and daily schedules in line with program goals
• Ensure active supervision and safety at all times, indoors and outdoors
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and school staff
• Keep accurate attendance and other DCF-required records
• Set up, clean up, and organize program spaces and materials
• Follow DCF Licensing Regulations, school programs, and organizational procedures

Qualifications

• Per DCF Licensing Standards:
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certifications: CPR & AED, or willingness to obtain
• Must pass a background check and meet all Wisconsin DCF requirements
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Training:

• Introduction to the Child Care Profession and School Age Programming
• Or willingness to complete within the required time

Schedule & Pay:

• Hours: After school Monday-Thursday from 1:30/2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Additional hours available during breaks & summer programs
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience & qualifications

Physical Requirements:

• Actively supervise and interact with children indoors & outdoors in all weather.
