Position Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities.
• Maintain appropriate supervision of children at all times.
• Follow Michigan childcare licensing regulations and center policies.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and administration.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Demonstrate patience, compassion, teamwork, and positive classroom management.
• Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in preschool, childcare, or early childhood education preferred.
• CDA credential, associate degree, or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Ability to meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements, including required background checks and training.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a professional team.
• Dependable transportation and a commitment to scheduled work hours.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
