Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports childhood development milestones, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independent learning.
• Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, play-based learning, and structured routines.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and address challenges effectively.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children’s progress and address individual needs or concerns.
• Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learners.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of all children by maintaining a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies such as Montessori or other educational frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively.
• Ability to implement behavior management techniques that foster positive social interactions.
• Knowledge of standardized testing methods related to early literacy and math assessments is a plus.
• Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and child welfare practices.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
